Description

This bronze metal hourglass sand timer frames a clear glass bulb in three slim pillars between two round bases, a classic shape that looks at home on a desk or a bookshelf. Fine white sand runs through the glass in a steady stream, a calm visual cue for focus sessions, tea steeping or a short break away from the screen.

Atlas comes in five run times, 1, 3, 5, 10 and 15 minutes, so it can time a quick task, a cup of tea or a longer study block. The compact frame measures 12.5 x 6 x 6 cm (4.9 x 2.4 x 2.4 in) and the bronze tone pairs with brass desk accessories, leather notebooks and dark wood. Turn it over and the sand starts again with no batteries, alarms or settings.

Place it on a home office desk, a reading shelf or a mantel beside books and candles for a vintage touch. It also makes a thoughtful gift for graduates, new managers or anyone building better work habits. Handle the glass with care, keep it away from the edge of busy surfaces, and wipe the metal with a soft dry cloth to keep the finish bright for years.
